Sponsorship Sales Executive - Account Manager - Media Sponsorship - exhibition sponsorship - Events sponsorship - Awards sponsorship.

A major Media company who specialise in B2B events, exhibitions, award ceremonies, trade shows and online publications are looking for a Senior Sales and Account Manager to sell Sponsorship to one of their major events portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

Sales - Develop sponsorship sales business across Events including Awards, Conferences, Networking Events and Creative Online Business Development, as well as bespoke client events and contract event management across a well known Portfolio.

Current sponsorship deals are £20k to £50k, therefore must have experience of selling high level sponsorship. Sponsorship experience min 3 years is essential for this role.

Key Functions

Developing New Business across a variety of platforms, listed above. Telephone sales and Face to Face sales Creative and structured approach to selling, consultative sell. The role will be selling to major companies and clients Must have experience of selling to, managing major accounts and winning new business, dealing with Brand name companies at a high level. Developing New client relationships Managing existing client relationships Sourcing and maintaining sales leads Sales Presenting (Formal and Informal) Manage and update individual databases Internal communication across departments Monthly/weekly reporting on Sales progress/activity Key Skills

3 years minimum new business sales, account management experience within sponsorship in media, exhibitions, events or similar. Preferably experience of selling awards and events / exhibition sponsorship, ideally within the media industry Current sponsorship deals are £20k to £50k, therefore must have experience of selling high level sponsorship Successful track record or sales Self motivated and proactive Excellent time management and organisational skills Creative and structured approach to selling
